New beginnings: make crebnow.com your one-stop shop for Calgary real estate news and advice

If you're reading this in our print newspaper, congratulations – you are holding one of the last physical copies of CREB®Now.

Unfortunately, the April 26 issue is our final one in print, but crebnow.com isn't going anywhere. In fact, we're planning to make our digital content better than ever before.
Hold on to that newspaper. Save it until the ink starts to fade, the paper yellows and the date on the masthead is only a distant memory. It's your own little piece of Calgary's real estate history.

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed tremendous pressure on the business models of print publications all over the world – from small community dailies to the multinational titans of mainstream media. CREB®Now was no exception. As a result, we made the difficult decision to discontinue the print newspaper and shift our focus to crebnow.com

Now, if you're reading this online at crebnow.com, you already know where to go for the latest Calgary-and-area real estate news, features and housing market data. All that quality content will still be available at your fingertips whenever you need it.

Valuable industry news and features, housing market statistics, how-to guides, and resources for buyers and sellers will still be added to the site and shared through our social media channels every week. Plus, our renewed focus on digital will create ample opportunities to experiment with different types of media and new methods of storytelling. We hope the result will be content offerings that are even more engaging and informative.

I know you've been told again and again that these are uncertain times, that nobody knows what the future holds or when this dark period in our collective history will be over. However, one thing is certain: we will continue to provide our readers with the information and tools they need to get the most out of their home buying and selling experiences.

The end of CREB®Now in print represents a significant change, but it needn't be a change for the worse. It is simply the start of a new chapter, and we are excited to turn the page and see what the future holds.

This originally appeared in the April 26 print issue of CREB®Now.
