Seton Townhomes offer modern design and spacious floor plans in the heart of the action

With no condo fees, large backyards and curb appeal galore, it's no wonder that Jayman BUILT's Seton Townhomes are turning heads.

"We really wanted to explore a less-is-more influence of clean lines with simple massing and design, while keeping the architecture as modern and eye-catching as possible," said Duane Addy, creative director for Jayman BUILT.

This intimate collection of 19 homes launched in mid-June with the opening of three showhomes – the Uni, the Alloy and the Tempo.

The elevations could be described as urban contemporary, with staggered facades that create depth and layers, while an earth-toned palette of chocolate and cream creates warmth and a welcoming feel. Inspired by European streetscapes, the design also incorporates a local, Calgary feel.
"The overall goal was to create units that, while looking very individual, worked together to create the overall look and feel of a single mass building." - Duane Addy, Jayman BUILT creative director

"The overall goal was to create units that, while looking very individual, worked together to create the overall look and feel of a single mass building," said Addy.

Buyers have a choice of three designs, all featuring ample square footage, open floor plans, laminate wood flooring, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops (two of the plans have huge, central islands in the kitchen).

Each home comes with a large rear deck and private, fenced backyard. Front yards are landscaped with low-maintenance materials – river stones, bark and shrubs – while young feet can run through sprinklers in the grass-covered backyard, a perfect hang out for young families and pets.

The Tempo is an innovative, 1,354-square-foot, two-bedroom model with a huge pantry and open-concept floor plan, which includes a central island and a second bedroom on the main level. The second level is devoted entirely to an owners' suite with upstairs laundry and a stunning open-to-below space overlooking the great room.

The three-bedroom Alloy design offers 1,567 square feet, including a private den and a large great room. The 1,288-square-foot, three-bedroom Uni model features lots of open space and a large walk-in closet in the master suite. All three homes also feature a private, rear parking pad and an unfinished lower level.

Built in pods of three or four, the townhomes line a residential street close to the action in Seton. This new southeast community is quickly becoming known as a trendy, urban hub, filled with restaurants, pubs, and downtown-style shopping and amenities. Those amenities include the South Health Campus hospital, a brand-new VIP Cineplex Theatre and the Seton YMCA, opening in 2019.

Home prices start at $344,000 including GST, with possessions available as early as July 2018.
