Homeowners don’t have to sacrifice with new townhome development in southeast Calgary
The elusive trifecta of location, luxury and livability has long eluded downsizers in Calgary – until now.

“When we planned Mosaic Riverstone we really made sure we were including the features that people may be used to in their current homes.” says Halliday. “So we offer hardwood and tile, soft-close cabinetry, granite or quartz countertops, tiled bathrooms – all of those things.”
Mosaic Riverstone comes with a choice of three models:
• The Olive is exclusive to upper-level homes and features an open concept with galley-style kitchen. It is available in two- or three-bedroom layouts.
• The Slate is located on the lower level, and includes more than 1,400 square feet of space with a galley-style kitchen in a two-bedroom layout.
• The Hunter is offered on both upper or lower levels, and has a three bedroom layout that features a centre U-shaped kitchen.
All models feature large patios or balconies that span the entire width of the homes.
“There are tremendous patios on the lower homes, and a wonderful balcony on the upper homes,” said Halliday. “So you have more than 200 square feet of added outside living space.”
She added that storage is also generous in all the floor plans. That includes sizable basements that can also be turned into mini fitness rooms or artist studios, large kitchens, dedicated laundry rooms with side-by-side washers and dryers and large ensuites with loads of closet space.
“So people are not having to sacrifice the things they have in their current home,” said Halliday.
While owners in Mosaic Riverstone may feel like they are hidden away in their own private oasis of Cranston’s Riverstone, the location is still just a short drive to plenty of amenities. That includes easy access to Deerfoot Trail, Stoney Trail and 52nd Street S.E.
Cranston’s Riverstone itself features schools and the retail/commercial Cranston Market. Nearby is also the emerging Seton Urban District, which includes the South Seton Hospital.

“We realize that picking selections and picking interior finishing is very important, so we have left these homes in a stage of construction where clients can still come in and pick their hardwood, pick their counters, pick their paint colours and then move in about 90 days later,” said Halliday.
The Mosaic Riverstone sales centre is located at 98 Cranbrook Dr. S.E. and includes the Oilve and Slate show homes.
“Anybody who lives in Calgary and hasn’t visited Riverstone yet needs to take the drive down into the valley,” said Halliday. “It is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Everyone who sees it raves about the views.”
