CREB^® Charitable and the Children's Cottage

On Friday, September 27 the CREB® Charitable Foundation organized volunteers from the Charitable Foundation Board, CREB®, Kahane Law and other organizations to begin demolishing the backyard play area.

By the time the volunteer group left, after four hours of hard work, we had managed to get the crew about 2 hours ahead of schedule. The Children's Cottage backyard project is being led by a team from Golden Acre's. We may or may not have caused a minor concussion for one of those team members.

This amazing organization "offers crisis care, respite and family support services to families and their children free of charge" according to the website, they "are a safe haven for children during times of family crisis."

The Children's Cottage was also a recipient of $25,000 dollars in last years 25 for 25 program by the CREB® Charitable Foundation.

CREB® Charitable Foundation Board President Mary-Ann Mears and Manager Aneve McKay-Lyons kept the troops entertained with their antics throughout the morning.
