Calgarians Asked to Vote for People's REALTOR® Award

Calgarians are being asked to help determine the winner of CREB®'s inaugural People's REALTOR® ROAR award. The ROAR awards are a new CREB® initiative, standing for recognizing our accomplished REALTORS®.

The People's REALTOR® ROAR award recognizes a real estate professional or team that consistently goes above and beyond to deliver exemplary customer service to clients. Nominees for this award exhibit qualities all REALTORS® can aspire to. They offer valuable professional advice and are always available to meet and exceed clients' needs. Public acknowledgement is but one element of the adjudication process for the People's REALTOR® award. Other components include the nomination story about the nominees, as well as personal interviews with the candidates.

"This is a prestigious award and a great opportunity for Calgarians to recognize a stellar real estate agent," said Corinne Lyall, chair of the ROAR awards. "The nominees inspire other real estate professionals and are remarkable examples of the valuable work REALTORS® do in our communities."

The award distinguishes real estate agents that are revered by clients because they continually surpass expectations, conduct thorough market research, consult during negotiations and take the extra time to explain the transaction process and contract details.

Nominees for the inaugural People's REALTOR® ROAR award are: Sharon Cragg of RE/MAX (Mountain View brokerage); Christine Laberge and Dwight McLelland of Helping You Realty (Urban Realty brokerage); Brenda Nault of Maxwell South Star Realty; and Lisa Wood of RE/MAX (iRealty Innovations).
